89th - impossible to be unhappy

Last night there was a power cut when we went out to eat. We went to a wood fire pizza restaurant and because of the lack of light it looked like a heavenly tent. When the light came on it wasn't quite as beautiful as the dark had suggested - not as circus like in it's feel. We played uno with the bar family but everyone was sleepy from the night before so we didn't get to wild. I bought a wonderful vest and so concluded my need for hippyish items. The vest and the harem pants will probably never be worn in England so it almost feels like a waste. While I'm here though they're perfectly legitimate... :)

The vest is Goa as hell

Couldn't get over this view, took the same shot every day, I think. This one just has the added bonus of a cow.

I got a bit trigger happy from this day because I found the continuous shooting mode and planned to make some gifs. I still haven't found a good gif creator that makes good quality low size images so I've had to post individual shots up separately. If anyone can help with this I'd be so glad to accept it.

88th - raptures of delight

I just had possibly the nicest meal of my life. It was a mushroom tikka kebab with capsicum and raita and salad. Each bite was another shade of culinary heaven. Accompanying this amazing plateful was a glass of freshly made watermelon juice, the only disappointment being that through generosity they had left no room in the glass for ice.

All this under coconut trees with a light breeze tickling their leaves and making them shiver.

Last night we sat in the kush and spoke with the two Janas about everything under the sun and danced to gypsy swing at the bar. The Norwegian guy got ridiculously pissed and couldn't stop talking and wouldn't try leaving. I'm not looking forward to paying our bar bill today...

87th

Having breakfast in another beautiful little restaurant just off the beach. Last night we stayed up chatting with some Germans and a Norwegian and he was telling us fantastic stories about polar bears and days that have nineteen hours or sunlight. He said that last year two men went up to the north of the country and didn't put bells around their tent and one of them was carried off in a polar bear's jaw by his head. His friend woke up and had to fire seventeen shots into the bear to make it drop it's meal. I wonder why that didn't make the international news.

It's more than a bit like heaven here, I wish you were all with me enjoying it too.
