Fourth day

Today I met the inimitable Alka Pande who is a veritable force of nature. I was an hour late after sleeping through my vibrate only alarm and no one batted an eyelid. That'll be arty types for you. She outlined the projects which I will be working with her on and we discussed my payment. She asked if I had a phone and when I told her I did and am paying thirty-five pence a text (not too bad, I thought) she urged me very strongly to get an Indian phone (1 rupee a text). This 'urge' involved her asking for the money she was owed from her staff and almost sending one of them out to get one for me. It only didn't happen because I didn't have my passport and a passport photo on me at the time. This is my job for tomorrow morning before I go in.

I think I have finally got the cold I have been due all winter. Classic.

The photo is of the rooftop restaurant at Hare Krishna where I am writing this blog because I am bored of my room.
